Hello friends. Last week, in mid-August 2022, we went on vacation to Alanya for 3 days to visit our friends who independently flew to Turkey from Russia and rented an apartment there for a whole month.
We had so much planned for these three days that we never even got to the famous Cleopatra Beach and climbed the no less famous Alanya Fortress, which offers a gorgeous view of city.
But on the other hand, we discovered new VERY cool locations, which I want to briefly tell you about today. I will post a detailed description of each of them with instructions on how to get there later on our website antalyada.ru
Breakfast on the mountain and the Zipline
Traditionally, we first went to a Turkish breakfast in some unusual place.
This time as “unusual place” I found a cafe on the mountain with a gorgeous view of Alanya and a bonus in the form of the largest Zipline (length 1 km, and maximum speed – 120 km/h).
Both breakfast and view , and emotions from the zipline – everything went with a bang!
Alanya Dimchai River
The next point of our adventures around the outskirts of Alanya was the Dimchay River with its many restaurants on the water. The main entertainment there is swimming in a cold mountain river, water slides and pools.
And of course delicious fresh fish for lunch. Time on the Dimchay River flies unnoticed. Very cool place! You can easily spend a whole day there.
Alanya Dim Cave
After lunch on the Dimchay River, we went to the famous Dim Cave, which is located there, literally 10-15 minutes away by car. Fans of climbing in cramped dark spaces will also like this attraction.
We spent most of the next day driving to Sapadere Canyon. It takes about an hour and a half to get there by car from the center of Alanya.
The road to the canyon is also very beautiful!
According to the photo and video on the Internet, he did not impress us much, but in reality it turned out to be the opposite. Everything is beautiful there and everything is very impressive: the mountains, and the canyon, and the river, and the waterfalls, and the observation decks… Take a look here:
BUT! Approximately from 11-12 in the afternoon, tourists from Jeep safari begin to be brought there and the canyon turns into a real anthill. At that time, we were already descending the mountain and were simply shocked by the number of “come in large numbers”.
All these tourists will obviously not have such a positive impression of this place, since I am sure most of them will not even reach the main waterfall will be able. A narrow bridge has been laid along the canyon, and a small observation deck by the waterfall. There must have been a kilometer-long queue…
Pirate Ship Adventure
We also had a fun educational adventure on a pirate ship, which I'll cover next)
Thank you for your attention, your Mom at the Sea.< /b>
