Air Moldova announced the resumption of flights to Moscow from October 1.
“The decision taken is the result of numerous appeals from citizens of the Republic of Moldova who wish to return home or reunite with their families. Also, the decision to resume flights is connected with the demands of passengers to use tickets purchased during the pandemic and after the closure of airspace in February”, the press service of the air carrier reports.
Representatives of Air Moldova emphasize that that the suspension of flights with Russia since February of this year has led to a number of difficulties:
- the need to re-purchase tickets at inflated prices;
- longer travel time;
- long and tiring connecting flights;
- difficulty in traveling for medical emergencies.
