Aeroflot received permission from the Federal Air Transport Agency to perform maintenance on foreign-made Boeing and Airbus aircraft registered in the Russian registry.
The Rosaviatsia certificate also allows performing maintenance and restoration of more than 1,100 components of foreign-made Aeroflot aircraft, using bench equipment unique in the country with the issuance of an expiration date.
Thus, Aeroflot Group (including the technical provider A-Technics) in aggregate has the competence and permits to perform maintenance and repair on the widest range of types of aircraft operated by Russian air carriers among MRO organizations in the Russian Federation: Airbus A320Family , Airbus A320neo, Airbus A330, Airbus A350, Boeing 737CL/NG, Boeing 777-300, Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 747-400, Boeing 747-400F, as well as domestic Superjet 100.
Aeroflot’s experience, quality control system for aircraft maintenance, the professionalism of its engineering and technical staff, and its extensive material base allow Aeroflot to successfully and timely fulfill the tasks of ensuring flight safety and regularity, develop taking into account new realities and look confidently into the future. Training and retraining of engineering and technical personnel for types of aircraft and as part of advanced training is carried out at the Aeroflot Aviation School, which has a certificate of an aviation training center issued by the Federal Air Transport Agency, as well as highly qualified teaching staff with extensive experience in the maintenance and repair of aviation equipment.
